Kathmandu: Syakar Trading Company Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor for Honda cars in Nepal has launched the fifth generation of it’s best selling sedan the City. The new City measures at 4549mm in length, 1748mm in width, 1489mm in height and has 2600mm long wheelbase. The City’s boot is of 506 liters.
The sedan has been launched in 2-engine and transmission configuration. There is a sole 121hp and 145Nm 1.5-litre petrol engine on offer with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission(CVT). The price for the base V variant starts at Rs 53.9 lakhs and tops out at Rs 69.9 lakhs for ZX automatic variant.
The car has been very well equipped even from the base V variant. To be fair the base variant does not even feel to be an entry level variant by the market standards.
The V variant gets 15-inch alloys, projector headlights with LED daytime running lamps, an 8.0-inch touchscreen with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Honda connect telematics, Alexa remote capability, steering-mounted controls, keyless entry, engine start/stop button, powered side mirrors, climate control, rear AC vents, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, driver’s seat height adjustment, cruise control, and front and rear armrest, among other features.
What’s more is that this gets safety kit like four airbags, ABS, brake assist with EBD, ESP, traction control, hill-start assist, rear-view camera, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
On the more premium variants you get features like 16-inch alloys, eight speakers, 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, lane watch camera, a sunroof, rear sunshade, front footwell ambient lights and a total of 6 airbags among other features.

VX Manual : Rs 59.9 lakh
VX Automatic : Rs 65.9 lakh
ZX Manual : Rs 63.9 lakh
