Kathmandu: Laxmi Intercontinental, the authorized distributor of Hyundai Motors vehicle in Nepal has launched the all new 2020 Hyundai Creta in Nepal. The price starts at Rs 43.96 lakh. The new Creta is based on the brand’s Sensuous Sportiness design language giving it a handsome look.
In Nepal the Creta gets two engine options: a 1.5 litre MPi petrol engine producing 115PS of power and 144Nm of torque and a 1.5 litre U2 CRDi producing 115PS of power and 250Nm of torque. The petrol engine is offered with a 6-speed manual transmission and a CVT automatic transmission. The diesel only gets a 6-speed manual transmission.
On the safety front the SUV gets ABS with EBD, dual airbags, rear parking sensors, tyre pressure indicator, speed sensing door locks, ESC, hill start assist, security alarm and auto hold function.
Comfort and convenience features that the SUV gets include 17 inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps with DRLs, panoramic sunroof, auto folding mirrors, 10 inch touchscreen with SIM based connectivity features and wireless charging, rear view camera, auto headlamps, cruise control and push button start/stop. The automatic variant also gets paddleshifters, an air purifier, driving modes and electronic parking brakes.
In Nepal there are six variants on offer; 2 for diesel and 4 for petrol including 1 with automatic transmission. The diesel gets E and S variant, the petrol manual gets EX, S, SX variant and petrol automatic gets SX variant.
